Day One the Foundations. This is the foundation and general format that you will be following throughout the programme, although each day will have some different recipes and practices for you to do.
Day Four. Getting into tune with your body. When you start to become more in-tune with your body and with the energy of the days and seasons, you will be more able to adjust in the future seasonal junctures. One of the main themes for seasonal junctures is the need to bring about change in a gradual way.
Day Three. There is so much wonderful information to learn about Kapha and of course the other doshas, but we are focusing on Kapha this month. This particular article alongside the daily formulas, tells us about the evening time for Kapha, read below.
Day Two. Learning a Few Kapha Rules. It is wise to avoid eating heavy meals first thing in the morning when Kapha is high and the digestion is slow. Breakfast should consist of light and warm foods. In the morning, the energy becomes heavy and cool and needs to be balanced by the opposite qualities. So we are looking for heating drinks and practices......
Day Five. One of the main themes for seasonal junctures is the need to bring about change in a gradual way. If you make changes quickly and without the due time and attention you will not only lose the benefits but it will be detrimental to your body. If you make changes gradually, they will feel more natural and are more likely to stick. If you try a drastic change rapidly, this will create too much stress on your system.
Balancing Kapha General Rules. Keep these rules as a foundation particularly if you are a Kapha body type. But remember that the Kapha Season will affect everyone and this is where we look to see what Kapha symptoms we are experiencing.
